My son's Daytona is number 00100

I just got it for him this past week. I struck a deal with him. Get a college scholarship, get the car/truck of your choice. He picked the Daytona. He's going to play football for the US Air Force Academy (Full-Ride...) I'm really proud of him. He's worked hard and is a fantastic young man.

He loves the truck and resprects its power and speed.<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre"> </pre>

It' appears that the tail fin and stipe are missing? Did the previous owner do that - if he/she did, do they still have the parts???

There's a "bald" Daytona out here near where I live, I've seen it several times - the owner took off the fin and the Daytona Stripe on the bed, I personally think it looks terrible.. too plain for a limited edtion truck that could be worth something in the future!

My son starts Air Force OTS on 21 August - scheduled to be a Navigator. Couldn't get him a Hemi though... he's got my '98 Ram 1500 4X4

Yes, it's sans fin and Daytona Stripes. We got it that way. The previous owner didn't include them when I got it. Actually, the son really likes it without the fin. Stripes... he could go either way.

It does have the tonna top, so it looks good.
