mikespeed6, sorry I missed your PM. (Don't see it).
Any who.....
I've got the Eibach Pro Truck Lowering Leafs. Good Four Inch Drop.

The load was good enough to tow the 18' Camper Trailer. (When I still had a rear bumper).

I took a hacksaw to the bump stops and knocked an inch off them. :thumb:

It's -.5 And it's adjusted as far as it can go and it's still negative. They still have the truck.

You have an 05 I have an 03 could your controlarms have more room for adjustment?

Same susp setups

So from what I gather you lowered it 2" with springs and have new bushings in lowers and they say the factory camber kit is maxed out

I have 2" spindles and 2" springs either way regardless of spindle drop my susp is the same as yours up front so I'm not exactly sure if they are adjusting it or saying so because they don't want to or your just maxed out see if you can look at the truck yourself from inside eng bay look down by fender liner and the upper control arm slides in and out in slots on the frame see if they are pulled all the way out also see if a pic is possible not trying to bash a shop just tossing ideas

Your not to far from me maybe we can hook up and you can take a look.
I.m in west palm beach

The front of my 03 is dropped using spindles and trimmed spring for a total about 3-1/2". I use adjusters to help with the alignment to make it easier for the tech to do the alignment. But these are not absolutely necessary to get the job done. Sometimes folks elongate the adjustment holes. I also have a little negative dialed in to help with tire to fender clearance when I was running wide tires. I would recommend discussing solutions with the shop and you decide what you want done. If the shop is not willing to work with you, find another shop. I went through several before finding a shop that specialized in fixing wrecked vehicles.

Hi Greg,

I new it would be a matter of time before you chimed in. Happy to hear from you. The shop is willing to do what ever the tech is bringing his plasma cuter to work to knock off the OEM bumpstops. I gave them the adjusters to help and the tech said send them back they are not going to make anymore room for adjustment. I think he knows what he is doing. Thanks for your input!!!

The steel cups are only spot welded and can easily be knocked off using a hand grinder and chisel. Correct the adjusters do not add more adjustment, just make the adjusting a little easier. Sounds like the tech has a handle on it. Recommend test driving after the alignment, sometimes they need a little adjustment to improve drivability. Will probably need a aftermarket bump to limit the wheel travel to keep it off the inner fender liner. Good luck.

I have aftermarket bump...Do you think elongating the holes for camber is OK?

Using some judgment in how far you are taking this I see no problem. But with that said I didn't have to elongate mine. ?

Just got off the phone with DJM Suspension.... No problem with removing a 1/2" to elongate for adjustments. And the tech at the shop is willing to do it.

yeah something sounds fishy.....not too many people on this forum(none that I've read anyways) having to elongate the adjustment slots. unless something is bent you should be able to get it aligned without any issues. I'd trust any info from charged392 or redtruckva. you should get a second set of eyes on it before hackin and wackin on the slots. a 2" drop with springs shouldn't be having that excessive amount of camber IMO.
