Again we'd be interested but according to my research I don't usually consider 88-90 degrees Fluffy friendly( think Gabriel Iglesias)
I don't know if anyone can follow what is posted on the web anymore. We normally don't get 10 inches of snow in February but we did yesterday here in Missouri and they say it is going to be 69 degrees on Sunday and then another snow storm next Thursday. We are not that far from Arkansas...lol.

I am torn between hotels. I have narrowed it down to 4. I like Baymont by Wyndham for the outdoor pool and lake amenities. It is away from the main attractions because it is on Lake Hamilton which would be nice because it would be a little quieter but I don't know how everyone else feels about that (Jerry and I don't mind either way). Bring your fishing poles (we would probably have to get a license/permit to fish). I have noticed that the hotels that serve breakfast are a little more in price but then if you would consider eating breakfast out everyday it would cost more. I have emailed the group coordinator this morning to see if she can get the rates down lower to compete with the online booking sites and with other proposals I am offering to all of you. Hopefully I will hear from her next week.

Baymont by Wyndham Hot Springs AR - $129 Queen; $139 King – Very Good Ratings
5321 Central Ave.- Group Coordinator Jodie Murphy 919-334-8565 jodie.murphy@wyndham.com
Outdoor Pool, Picnic Area, Outdoor Furniture, Sun Deck, Parking, WiFi, Breakfast Buffet, No Smoking rooms, Laundry, Fitness, walk out on back of hotel to dock on Lake
Hamilton.

I will post the others so you can help me narrow down the choices.

The next choice is Courtyard by Marriott. The outdoor area is absolutely wonderful and the rates are better but the down side is no breakfast. They do have a restaurant and Starbucks on site.

This hotel is really cool because it actually has little kitchenettes in the rooms. It is also across from Lake Hamilton and it has more amenities than all the others. Keri, the Group Coordinator told me that this hotel books quickly and she is already out of King rooms.

It has been difficult for me to decide because all the hotels have different amenities besides our normal requirements that we all like. I included them in the hotel descriptions above. Which hotel do you all think we should settle on?

I read a lot of reviews on so many hotels and these came out the best for the rates. Now with that being said, keep in mind the rates from the group coordinators do not include the taxes or the tourist tax because those rates change frequently just like the exchange rates change daily for currency. It is the same if you book online the rates are different when you check out because of the taxes.

When we decide on the hotel, I will coordinate with the group coordinator to tell her to expect calls from us and that you will identify yourself to be with the "Hemi Truck Club" to get the group rate. Those of you that are military, first responders or AARP, please tell the person when you call to book your room because you might get an even better rate.

I need to let the group coordinators know really soon which one we are going with because according to them they all start to fill up starting in June all the way through October.

All those look good to me, Michelle! Thanks for your work. I prefer an outdoor pool and breakfast but in the big picture we're good with whatever the rest of group wants. I agree with everyone else in that I just want to get to see everyone again.........but apparently I'll have to look up to see Blake.........

MIchelle, when I went to the Marriot Website it did not mention if they have mini fridges & microwaves or coffee makers in the rooms. When you talk to them can you ask?

Thanks!! I'll live without the microwave and coffee maker but the fridge.......YIKES!!
