I just checked the main Marriott website and the destination of Hot Springs, AR. There are coffee makers, microwaves and mini fridge in the rooms. https://www.marriott.com/reservation/rateListMenu.mi?defaultTab=standard

According to the website the King rooms are sold out and only a few left of Queens. I sent a message to the group coordinator to see if she held 10 rooms for us or if she just gave us a quote only. This happens to be the only hotel out of the 4 that does not offer breakfast. They have a Bistro and Starbucks on their property that you would have to pay extra. They don't offer any type of complimentary coffee either. Is everyone still OK with that? I listed this hotel as one of the 4 because the outside area was nice and the rate is better but it does not have most of the amenities that the other hotels do. Jerry brought up a good point too. If you consider going out to breakfast every day it would probably cost $20 or more per couple and even more for family so the other hotel rates that are a little higher are actually more reasonable. I am not trying to sway anyone I just want to make sure that everyone knows that there is no breakfast like we are all used to in the past hotels that we stayed at.

Kima, I like an outside pool as well. I am waiting on a response back from the group rep on the Baymont to see if she will knock the rate down more because I found better rates on Priceline, Kayak etc. Jerry likes Staybridge Suites because he likes the free food and beverages for breakfast and dinner...lol. He also liked the little kitchens in the rooms with the large refrigerator. With Jerry it is all about food....lol. I am checking with that rep as well to see if she will knock the price down a little more on that one too.

Ok. I got a response back from Keri at Staybridge Suites and she remains at the rate of $134. Keri explained that the time we are going is the beginning of peak season. Keri also explained that the rates are higher Friday and Saturday nights so since I had given her the dates of 6/12 to 6/18 she had to account for the Friday night and she just built the rate including that Friday night stay. The rate Sunday through Thursday is $127. Keri also mentioned not to forget that their hotel does offer free laundry which most hotels are coin activated. Also Tuesday thru Thursday is free dinner that includes free wine, beer and soda.

I will let you know if I hear an update from Baymont if they will lower their rates.

Baymont by Wyndham had the same answer as Staybridge. They are staying with the rates of $129 for 2 Queen Beds in a room. This is the hotel that had the walkway to the docks so it is on Lake Hamilton.

We need to make a decision quickly so I can get a hold on a block of rooms because Marriott did not block the space and they do not have enough rooms for us now.

I was just on Staybridge's web site and its advising that the indoor poor is closed for renovations. While it doesn't matter to me if its closed there are members who do care about a pool also there is no completion date listed so it may or may not be available for use during our time frame. www.staybridge.com

Thank you. I am so glad you checked into this because the pool does matter to me. I actually preferred the outdoor pool that Baymont has anyway.

Is this the official Hot Hemis at The Springs?
Baymont by Wyndham Hot Springs AR - On the Lake $129 Queen; $139 King – Very Good Ratings
5321 Central Ave.- Group Coordinator Jodie Murphy 919-334-8565
I am waiting on the group contract from Baymont. They were supposed to have it to me today to sign but I have not received it yet. When I get the contract it will have the information on it to whom we call to book our rooms. Jodie Murphy is the corporate group coordinator but when we call to book it will be someone directly with the hotel in Hot Springs, AR.

I will let you know.

I am still trying to get the contract from Baymont. I called the hotel directly today and talked to Kinsey and she checked for me on our dates and said there is still plenty of rooms available. Kinsey told me that her supervisor, Crissy, is the one handling our information. Crissy was not in today and she works the night shift tomorrow. Kinsey put a note on her computer to call me so hopefully I will hear back and get the contract signed soon. I asked Kinsey if we could call in now to book our rooms and she said we had to wait in order to get the group rate that was quoted. GGGRRRRR! I have to practice my patience...lol

Okay Everyone!!!! To book your room at Baymont Hot Springs, AR, call 501-520-5522. Please let them know that you are with the "Hemi Truck Club". I just booked mine with no problem. They have enough King and Queen rooms available. Your confirmations should show Queen at $129 plus tax or King at $139 plus tax. I booked my room for 6/12/22 (Sunday check-in) to 6/18/22 (Saturday check-out). The Queen rooms have 2 Queen beds in them. King rooms are single bed.

This is exciting because I feel its happening and I am so ready to see everyone again.
