Looking at how I'm going to install the braided fuel lines. Want the fuel lines to be easily connect/disconnected at the front of the intake manifold. Installing the fuel pressure regulator between the brake master cylinder and the battery. The same place where it was at on the 03. Liked it there. It was easy to read the fuel gauge while setting the fuel pressure.

With the Hellcat fuel pump. -06 AN Jegs Pro-Flow 200 series s/s braided hose will slide onto the barbed plastic tube on the fuel pump. Going to use a high quality hose clamp to hold and seal the hose in place. The pic on the bottom is a comparison of a -6an fitting to the pump barb tube.

Stuff like that makes me nuts...

Went ahead and installed all of the NGK 5701 spark plugs. Installed one of the used NGK 5701 plugs (that fired good) up front of the engine on a waste spark plug wire. Started up the truck, she's running good. :thumb::thumb::thumb: Once the new NGK 5701 plug shows up, will install it then. Will take her around the block (2nd gear only) tomorrow just to make sure she running better. Have to make arrangements for the truck to get flat bedded to Aamco for the trans relearn. Back on track.

PS. Going to wait till after the trans relearn and some driving around on the street before modding the fuel system. Have to order a few more fuel system parts anyhow.

I would buy it if I hadn't just bought the trinity programmer. They offer a full refund if it doesn't work the way you want and it doesn't do what they say.

According to the manual a throttle set is done automatically. It's when the throttle voltages are read by the pcm. But I found if I turn the key to on and push the throttle to wot position and back to idle position the idle quality and response feels better sooner than if just driven for awhile. It's a little 03 mumbo jumbo left over from the good old bad days of the 03 pcm tuning.
This procedure worked on my 04. Turn key to run position, wait till all the warning chimes stop, slowly press the footfeed all the way to the floor, then slowly let back up. Turn key off. Now you have reset the throttle pedal. Noticed a little better response.

I first noticed a fresh tune settling in quicker back when I was tuning the 03 pcm. During a moment of frustration I stromped the throttle, and ran it up through a gear. Afterwards I noticed the tune had settled in. So after that I did the throttle set with the ignition on and engine off.
