We have all learned over the years that the 2003 was left behind and the 2004-2005 was left by most but tweeted by some. There are issues we cannot solve and it comes down to the software digital level not the tuning. The cars have it all figured out something about them is different. The part throttle fuel can be tuned I know my wife’s charger richens and doesn’t run throttle away. I have also tryed to lay the car file over a truck file and there are a ton of differences and tables that are missing or different. The pcm for a truck can be made to work 80-90% and the rest you have to drive yourself.
PS. I have to disagree with you on the 03 pcm. After all, I was able to get my 03 to run as fast as Bill's turbocharged 426 Hemi QC in full street trim. That was my goal all along with the 03. Did that with a smaller engine, smaller cam and the restrictions of the 03 pcm. Did have to get inventive with some things but, it worked. Was only able to accomplish that with the KRC tune. Thanks Marty.
After seeing Bill run that 12 second run in full street trim. That's what I wanted to do the most with the 03. Thanks for the inspiration Bill.
After finally finding an honest cmr tuner with experience on the 2005 pcm. He's recommended from MMX. As he broke down the 05 pcm to me. The sad reality sunk in. The 392 and the turbo system will never work the way I want it too with the 05 pcm. It will cost too much to covert everything over to make the 392 and the turbo system work the way I want it too run. Still will have tuning/driving problems even with making the 392 n/a. Mild adjustments can be done to the 05 pcm with stock displacement engine. Mild modification can be done to the 345 Hemi engine and still have full street driving capabilities.
Yes, it's running better. Installing a Rhodes ice water tank system now. Already installed a heavy duty battery cut out switch at the battery for resetting the tune. Put a new rear bumper on.
