I gave the bike thing up back in early 2000s...WAY to many blind A$$ drivers. and that Ducati just wanted to go super sonic.

The 916 superbike is without doubt the quickest most nimble bike I ever had with character that can't be matched. I traded for a rare Moto Guzzi v10 Centauro with the world champion four valve engine. The purest hated me for modifying it.

Had a 1993 Monster , a 1990(ish) 900SS and the Nutso , lets fit the coffin now bike was the 1994 ,916. love those 916s , I really liked my Buell, great handle bike with lots of stump pulling bottom end, but that 916 really felt like you and the bike were one.....unlike anything else I ever rode

My 916 was a 97' solo, all carbon fiber. This was during my bicycle racing days. Together I believe we were still under 500 lbs. Clearly the most exciting bike I've ever ridden. I still have the v10 and a vtx I suspect I'll never ride again but can't bring myself to sell.

I was thinking about that this morning, but this is the first overnight outage I've had for many years. The 5kw generator I have is old and quirky. I'll use it if it is truely necessary. But with it being just me and the dog it's just an inconvenience.

hope your power is back on... What do you use to heat your house.

Thanks, power is back... I use propane for everything.. central heater has blowers, but last night I just used a space heater.

Oh, it'll happen again, just a matter of time. They have made great improvements over the last 35 years. We use to be at the end of the line and frequently lost power for days. Now we may go a year or two and then it's repaired quickly.

Same story around here...now - As much as power costs now they don't want to miss a week's worth of revenue :thumb:.

I need to get a generator just in case.
