I just had a great conversation with Ryan and Dennis at ATS diesel. They are very interested in working with us to create a transmission along with their co-pilot transmission controller. They will be in contact with me in a couple days about testing their products out. I have the small pin tips on my meter. That's how I checked the ATS Copilot wiring harness and found no problems. Can only find very vague wiring diagrams for the 03 and 05.

This is ATS TPS Copilot install instructions. Is the TPS signal pin # 1 or # 4 on the throttle body plug? On my 05, the brown with orange strip is # 4 pin.

Well, still no copilot wiring harness for my 03. Haven't received a return email communications from Clint, Jeff or Max. Looks like the ATS trans will have to be removed. There's no reason to keep it in my 03 if the copilot system isn't working. It was going to be put into my 05 at some point anyhow. With the way things have been going, wondering if that would be a waste of time also. Regretting not going to a 46RH now...

The wiring as previously stated is the same. The p/n T41 Sense is being lost or not being recognized. Jump the starter relay and you can test the trans.

I don't think of this situation that way Keith. I still believe in ATS. I haven't proven that their transmission does or doesn't do what it was designed for yet. The ATS Copilot set-up that I have is for the 04 to 08 Hemi Rams. ATS has to make a special Copilot wiring harness for the 03s. And to be honest, I'm tired of constantly having to do crazy bs stuff to my 03 to make it work. It's time to make the swap to the 05.

I'm still not getting it. Looking at the 03 and 05 pinouts side by side. The wiring is the same for the starter circuit. It comes down to how the 03 pcm is processing the T41 Sense. Jump that sucker and fire it up...

To be honest Greg, I don't know enough about the Copilot wiring set-up to try that Greg. ATS will not give up the info. With my luck, it would fry the pcm. Don't need that problem now. I had planned on swapping every thing over to the 05 anyhow. This problem was the last straw. I've had enough of this 03 bs! The plan is to put the 03 back to stock and make it a daily driver again that can tow if needed.
After all, that's why I bought the 05 for. Better tuning, 392 stroker, bigger cam, bigger injectors, bigger turbo(s), ATS trans and Copilot that works in it, with a lighter truck = Haul's A$$!

Barney is out of the 03. Barney will be going into the 05 since the copilot wiring harness seems to be working in the 05. We will see....
This transmission was built to work with the copilot. If this was a pass or fail grade. This would be a failing grade due to the copilot wiring harness not working on the 03. As well as the failure of ats to send me a working wiring harness in a timely matter.
