Whatever works for you....

Really !?!?! after I've already spent 3500 of a 4500 final bill for the 46rh. really ? Call Dennis !?!? F*ck Dennis ! Where were you when I needed help ? Your people just gave me a big run around. My money says this is just A BIG PURPLE TURD. C'mon Dennis, how about a reply now ? Prove me wrong. I DARE you !
Sorry Mr. Jassole, I left my number as a way to contact me since I will not be able to monitor this forum 24/7. I'm sorry to hear that you had issues with one of our units. Even worse, that you were turned away when you needed a solution. I can assure you that although I am not a tech/warranty guy, I am willing to help you with your issues and get you in touch with the right people. But please know that temper tantrums over the internet usually do not get results. Communication does. Again, I can be reached at 1800-949-6002.

Too late, the money has been spent. So tell us, what exactly has been done to address 2nd prime, and WOT OD issues. I could sell this 46rh, and go 545 if I knew that all the 545 issues have been addressed. And yeah, I'm pisesd. I was ready to throw a truck load of money to you guys, and I got turned away

It's important to remember the "J" is silent.....

Maybe they have a conscience an didn't want to sell you junk

That's how I see it. They don't have a suitable transmission and told you so. Now they may have had a break through or sales is not talking to the engineers.

Ok Hugh. Your post has been on my mind all night. I came in first thing this morning just to get you an answer since I definitely want to help you out. My technician just told me that the line pressure issues have been addressed with our Co-Pilot. This controller is currently able to increase the pressures to 160. We are currently working with a test vehicle to see how much higher we can get this number since majority of you guys in this club have high HP trucks. Currently the drum that is being used in our performance builds is a larger drum to house more clutches (I am waiting on an exact number once my master builder gets back ti his area). The pressure mods have also been moved from the pump into the valve body. I am waiting for a full assembly list to be put together so I can post it for everyone in this thread.
Please know that I am curious and excited to see how this turns out. We have built transmissions for over 25 years and these last few convinced us to reach out to the gas world. You guys' feedback is critical to our design because majority of our 545 customers are no where near your power levels. This may cause concern for some but excitement for others. At the end of the day, my goal is to get you what you want and need while exceeding your expectations. I aim to do that with yours and others help. I am far from a technician but if you have any questions and are unable to call, I will check this thread every few days and get you answers asap.

Cool reply, thanks for that. The drum and clutch(s) upgrade is a good start. What about 2nd prime though. THAT seems to be this trans' biggest weak spot. I may reconsider, depending on the info posted here. Didn't mean to disturb your night last night. Thanks for getting back to me. BTW, it's pronounced Huge A**hole. LOL. Really though, the name is Don

:iagree:

2nd prime is enabled only during kickdown shifts above certain speeds, that enhances vehicle performance by allowing for a higher gear ratio passing gear at highway speeds. 2nd prime engaged clutches are, u/d and fourth clutches as long as the overdrive and/or tow haul button is off/on.

Here's a few vids of my 03 turbocharged Hemi QC Ram truck for ATS to look at. Most of these runs are with only 8psi boost and in full street trim with 22" SRT10 wheels and street tires. The truck weigh's 5700lbs with me in it. The fastest run was a Gainesville Fl. Raceway with oem 20" wheels and tires. It did 12.8@109mph with 10psi boost. It can run 8 to 14psi boost now.

Here's some of the other Florida chapter Hemi Truck Club members.

This is Keith(charged392). He has and is still helping many of us with our Hemi Ram trucks with various mods from traction bars, 545RFE trans problems, custom performance tuning(he is a CMR tuner), supercharger installs, 426 Hemi build & install with tuning in an 07 qc Ram, NOS system install, ect, ect, ect. He currently has built a stage 3 46rh for swapping out the stage 3 545rfe trans in his truck. His truck is a 05 Hemi Dodge Ram with a 392 stroker engine with a supercharger. We are very lucky to have him in the Florida Hemi Truck Club. He has the fastest truck in the Florida chapter Hemi Truck Club. 11.63@115mph.

Glad to meet you Don! And I must say, the videos and pictures of the trucks in this forum are amazing. Seriously. I am going to get with the owner of the company (Stu actually spoke with him yesterday) and get as many details as I can over the weekend. I should have more information first thing Monday on the 2nd prime issues. You guys have all helped get the ball rolling on an extreme duty 545rfe. Thank you and have a great weekend.

This has been a long time coming. And if it wasn't for ATS diesel, this transmission (545rfe) would have been abandoned! And just like your company, a few of us are not willing to give up on it yet.:thumb:
