After removing all the guts out of the trans. Was really surprised how light weight the housing is. Glad the trans has a strong trans fluid pan now to help support it's own structure. In some of our trucks, the trans has to hold and support much higher than stock hp/tq.

Added a few more tools. That bent over screw drive is handy for helping remove C clips. And the angled air nozzle tip sure make removing the clutch pistons much easier. Just put some air into the proper port and the piston pops right out.:thumb:

The tech manual says use TransJel on the seals but, it didn't come with the kit.:rolleyes: The auto parts store salesman just looked at me with a deer in the headlight look after I asked him about the TransJel. Will have to use atf+4 fluid for the seals.

I get that look a lot, funny I asked the dude at the video shop and he had a tube right under the counter.. :coolsmiley:
