Thank you all for your replies. I'm probably gonna go with Spicer. Just an update the tranny has been sent back to Denny, and the torque converter has been sent back to FTI for inspection, cleaning, and a re-stall.

I'd call him Bill. He wasn't there on Monday, but was suppose to be back in on Tuesday.

So, how fast does the line pressure build up when you go from idle to wot?

The reason I ask this question is maybe there needs to be a delay in serious power until the line pressure is up........ Maybe a pressure sensor for a boost delay switch or bypass valve?

Humm....
My LP gauge shows it is instant pressure increase. I'm not making big power, but I never lean on mine in OD. Even driving around where I'm playing a little the OD goes off everytime first. I have LP Booster and a stage III VB. No problems so far. knock on wood.

I think mine is at the end of the shifter

Some trucks have both on the button one or the other

Od off is just that overdrive off there is also tow haul which holds out of overdrive until the load is steady and not lugging the motor down it also runs the line pressure a little higher for extra holding power

Just a quick update, Denny rebuilt the tranny and it should be here on Wednesday. So hopefully I'll have the truck by Friday. Denny wants to see line pressure numbers and go from there. Tranny tuning will mostly be a factor in the future.
