No..... It will never make 11s Austin. Truck,s too heavy, need more engine displacement, cam, bv heads(Eagle), nos, new boost tune(18psi), and it's an 03...... Actually, it gets expensive to go for 11s with an heavy truck....... Should be able to get in the high 12s on a steady basis in "Full Street Trim"...... :rofl: :thumb::thumb:

Finished measuring out the short block. All of the new bearing are in specs. Also check for crankshaft to piston skirt and reluctor wheel clearance. Plenty of room.

Also checked the piston deck height. Doesn't show a +.020 deck height. Just .008 height. Add around .002 (Con rod bearing clearance) for .011 piston deck height. Humm.....

This is what was done before having to get ready for work.

Installing the piston pin clips. Used a flat tip screwdriver to check the clip gaps. Making sure the clips where seated correctly.

Piston pins, piston pin bosses, con rod boss, con rod bearing, main bearings, crankshaft thrust washers, and and crankshaft journals all lubed up with STP Oil Treatment. Regular engine oil on compression and oil control rings.
