I have an 08 mineral grey metallic and am struggling on going either 22 chrome rims or 22 black rims. I know the chrome is universal but I think the black would look good. Also I have the base model so the bumpers/grill are black also.

Sounds like the black would be cool with black bumpers. I don't suppose you ever go (or plan to go) out to SA raceway? Would be cool to see another hemi out there.

I may go out one of these fridays to see what I can getbone stock. I've been out there a few times in my old Z28.

What body style is your truck? I ran 15.4 bone stock with a tool box, spare, and over 30 gallons of gas in the tank.

I got the reg cab hemi with eveerthing base. No PW and no PL

Same here except mine is a long bed. You should run pretty well at the track. I even had people asking me what I had in my truck when it was completely stock.

So what did u run stock? Everbody tells me mid 15's but all of them are Quad Cabs.

15.4 with a tool box, spare tire tail gate and over 30 gallons of gas. As is off the dealership lot. Stock 245 goodyears and stock 3.55 gears and stock posi. Not too bad. It weighed in at 5300 lbs. Now when I go I take all that crap off and it weighs about 4800 and my best was 14.8 still completely stock but no muffler. I'm going back next Wed with a superchip, power wire, dual filter intake and a cut out with a flowmaster behind that with some M&H drag radials. I'm hoping to run faster than 14.5.

Starchief-you should remove the spare and your tailgate.I imagine you could be closer to 14.3's

The 14.8 was with no spare, no tail gate and no tool box and 1/4 tank of gas. I'll do the same next week.

Starcheif I may go next friday. Im in Austin so it will be about a 45-1 hour drive.

I won't be able to make it on Friday. I have to work. I'll be there Wed night though. I live in Canyon Lake so it's about a 40 minute drive for me also. No big deal. It's worth it. Only $20 to run
