Some places you have to backtrack for 8 miles just to get on another road. No warning until it to late.

Left home this morning at 5 AM to fly down to Dallas via Denver

. Got home with her just after midnight. I drove all the way from McHenry Tx to my home and still have a quarter tank of gas! Unheard of!!!!

Anywhoo. Thank all of you so much for your help. If I'd have been able to get there earlier in the day, I'd have hunted you guys down, but just didn't have the time to spare.

I grew up in Oklahoma. I hate the roads. I didn't run into any detours though, which was a blessing.

Thanks everyone. I said I was gonna leave this one alone but I was left unsupervised today and (well every day) and ended up ordering a sub, a deck, put two sets of speakers on my wish list and the cheapest and best part of all, a part that eliminates the skip shift "feature" that was already peeving me off as little as I've driven it. It's parked in the garage until I get her tagged, and getting her in the garage was no small feat either!
