so i finally got the deck installed, no prob at all...put in the door speakers and dash as well...the dashs are off the head unit and the doors off the amp running the hpf. no bass at all but thats ok. sounds pretty good....no infinity kappas by any means but im happy so far. deck fit like a dream...nicest fit aftermarket deck i ever had...the bluetooth works awesome and phone tunes are clear as a bell. some key notes, the factory sat antenna works just fine if you remove the clip, wires are super easy to run through the dash as well. im waiting on a harnesss to utilize the factory backup cam.

i forgot to take a pic of the door speakers, they needed a little more space so i used washers. the dash speakers....its been hardcore winter here since early december so yes my truck is rotten.

thanks...i love it, bluetooth is much better all around plus i now have 3 4volt preouts for expansion, which is the main reason...plus the wheel controls still work.

Nice. I can't wait to get to my sound system. its the stock infinity system. But its showing its age these days. And I have no way to connect outside audio except through a Bluetooth to RF transmitter. And we have way too many stations around here to find a clear frequency.

One of these days I'll get to it. :thumb:

it all comes in time, iv had this truck for 2.5 years and slowly but surely i keep adding...slacked for a few months while i was modding my atv but thats about it

The problem is with all the motor and exhaust work I need a loader stereo to be heard over it.:thumb:

its been sold for a while now, 2 days after i removed it actually to a guy in new jersey...one of the kickers is not cooaperateing so im pulling them. i have a set of infinity kappa 6.5s and 6x9 adapters on the way. happy, because i wanted infinity in the beginning anyway. i had very similar set in my mazda on a jbl amp and loved them, brutal loud and clear

Hi Newfibullit,

I have an Infinity sound system in my 2003 Sebring LXI Coupe and it sounds awesome. Also way becak when I had a set of Infinity RS 6 speakers on my home system and you could push them until you fried the ribbon tweeters and the sound was crystal clear. I have a deep respect for Infinity because they just plain work.
Enjoy and have fun.

thanks, i love the infinity kappas, always was a fan but they were a little out of budget here, wanted decent but not over the top, but when i ended up with a blown speaker out of the box, and the fact that they didnt sound like i wanted, i said the hell with it, i need something to compete with 4 subs anyway haha.

something must have happened on install cause the kicker worked fine after i took it out...only thing i can figure is because it didnt sit flat i may have twisted....but anyway the infinity's sounds so much better, i love a bright tweeter and these got it, layla(acoustic) by eric clapton just sounds awesome :) that was my test song haha, and some blue rodeo.love to hear each instrument.bought adapters, had to bore them out a little as these speakers are 6.75 but worked great.and yes i lost one of the screws:facepalm:
