OK, let's see.
I have been a devout Chevy fan for years, but due to some slight quality issues and major dealer issues I have crossed the line and just purchased a 2013 1500 Big Horn yesterday. I only drove it home and to dinner last night with the wifey and my daughter, but impressed so far, but confused on many levels with some of the operation of the vehicle but that will soon pass in time with a little use. My wife works for Cummins here in central Indiana, so a Dodge was a win for her. So if you have one of the Dodge Cummins powered trucks, she helped build it.
It will have a pretty easy life compared to some, as it wil not be a daily driver and haul my boat to the lake ramp during the summer (1 mile from my driveway) and family trips and dinner outings with the occasional work detail just to keep it in shape.
The 09' Chevy I traded in had 31k on the odo, if that will give you and idea of how much I will drive it.
And I already have an appointment with my window tint guy next saturday for some tint and possibly a spray in berliner to be followed up with the access Lorado tonneau cover for the bed.
The truck itself looks great (big fan of a black truck, not so much of a fan of keeping it clean). It's going to take some getting used to looking over the hood and not hitting anything, and i am not a short person by any means. My wife on the other hand might need some spare phone books to sit on.
Thanks for having me on here and getting some well needed info.
The instrumentation is a little intimidating to say the least. But like I said earlier, it should get better with time.
