Looks like more air, but you are getting mostly hot air from the engine compartment. Would be a better set up if they both pulled from the front of the engine compartment or if you had a shaker hood.

Tried one last year. Sounded mean, but ran slower once motor warmed up.

Southern Thunder from the Texas Chapter runs this air intake on his truck and has no problems with it, Looks good also. RR

I think someone on the club was modifying on of those to run down closer to the cooler air

I have one - like D*I*G*H said it does suck in the hot air - I have kind of modified mine - see http://hemitruckclub.infopop.cc/eve/ubb.x/a/tpc/f/5030035252/m/2500022223

I have even done more modification to it brining the filters out in front of the engine and down into the openings you have after removing the stock air box on the pass side and it goes under the small electric fan on the drivers - will post pic's again later - have to take them - I can feel it and you can most sertanly can hear it when you go WOT. Am going to do some runs with my G-Tech Pro to see what kind of times I have now that I changed the location of the filters - will also post.

dont know if it helps but thats what my .02
