I just use my tuner on the truck. On my Mitsubishi I use a cheap code reader I got from carquest.

Chief had the same problem. i think i got a minor exhaust leak. light comes on. I disconnect the battery wait ten minutes then reconnect. the light goes away for another thousand miles. Took it to the dealer who charged me $250 to tell me they didnt know.

Typically 5-6 cold starts and bring it to operating temps before the computer relearns itself. The code should reappear after that, if the symptoms aren't remedied.

The problem here is the Dodge dealer in this part of the world don't don't trucks only a small selection of SUV's and cars.
It doesn't matter where we take vehicles in this country we pay for the time spent regardless of the outcome. When the average dealership "mechanic" ( I use that term loosely) charges $100 and hour, one has to a little circumspect about what one gets them to do.
Its like I was saying to Red, spark plugs over there cost you guys $2 over here its $18 and they the cheap ones. Its just the way things are. Never been any different.

That's simple robbery. Being charged 9x the cost can't be justified IMO.....
