When I asked Mark the engineer at Stant how the 190 aftermarket stat was coming for the 03-08 this was his reply ...talked to him today said i would have one in a couple weeks

Thanks for the update. If it has a part number, please let us know what it is, and how it's working for ya.

I've got a '05 and would like to drop a 190 t-stat in, and remember I'm in AZ if that makes any difference.
what part of AZ? mid to southern AZ, I would say go with a 180.

in Bisbee, temps range from +20* to +100*F, on average, winter/summer.

my Jet 180* with bypass blocker warms up the heater pretty quick in winter, and runs close to 180*F all year.

Aren't you able to find one Jay?!
Haven't really looked. Would like a Hemi specific 190.

Just received the prototype 190 unit from stant looks the same as the stock unit .installing it tomorrow , has no part number stamped or on the box it came in .I will get back to him Mark to see when it ships and get a part number.

Thanks for the info. I planned on changing mine along with hoses before i go to michigan for a week.

Still waiting for feedback from Mark at Stant if they have a part number yet. The truck runs much better with the 190 than the stock 203 alot better throttle response

that's good! seems to have the same effect as a 180*.

It took a little while but i think for sure the sweet spots for this old rig is 190 , much improved throttle response with a really smooth idle. will call mark at Stant and try to get a part number email is not working

Talked to Mark the engineer who sent me the prototype he said we are looking @ 2 months or less for the new 190 stat... in his words he has a few others up first for tooling
