1st mod is to remove the black vinyl on the B-column--btw the windows.

For my 2nd and 3rd mods, I have window visors and bedtred on order and should arrive next week.

My 4th is a catch-can, but that's not really a detailing "thing".

Geez...and I bought this truck 2 days ago. :brows:

You gotta start somewhere. Post up some pictures of you work when you have a chance. :thumb:

Welcome Jhardie! Sounds like the bug has already bitten you. I suggest looking through the pictures in our members garage's. There are a lot of unique ideas that our members have done. Feel free to ask questions...saves time and money. Ask me how I learned that. :(

Then 2nd and 3rd mod.

The bedtred...hmmm...on the PITA install scale...7 out of 10. Satisfaction of install...6 out of 10. The directions were very clear. It's a 1 person job, so having 2 would have made things crowded. Time will tell on this one.

This window visors. Easy install...but be prepared for wind noise going down the freeway. Not major--but noticeable. They look good, but if I find that it continues to bug me, I might take 'em off. I'll give to end of summer before I make a decision.

How difficult was it to remove the black from between the doors? Can you show a close up of how it looks with out the black. The driver's front door looks to have a seam across it,,what is it?

It was really easy. Loosen the screw that holds the trim piece--you'll see it when you open the door. I didn't take it all the way out. Just enough so the vinyl comes out. I found that starting from the top and windows down makes it easier. I just started at the top corner and pulled down going side to side. Sort of zig-zagging. Stuff is pretty tough, and I had one small piece rip off--but nothing a pair of needlenose pliers couldn't get to.

BedTred Pro Truck Bed Liner by BedRug Pro Truck Bed Liner
SKU 3755482
Part #151310

From Autoanything $409 (379 before taxes)

If I did a little more research, I probably could have saved the $30 tax by buying from a vender not in CA. I was going to buy my Amp-Research powersteps from them but buying out of state vs from Autoanything I saved + $100 in taxes.

This looks great! Did I understand you correctly, you put this bed liner in? I had mine installed professionally and spent several hundred dollars. And yours looks much better than mine did. Awesome work.
Thanks. Yes, I did the install and happy with it.
The other day, I had a few bags of redi-mix and some of that cement dust got on the liner. I still haven't powerwashed off yet (hope it's not too late, now)--so we will see.

I keep an old sheet in my truck for such things. I have a BedRug and hate having to clean it....not that I ever do. Makes clean up a lit easier. Ready mix, fertilizer and such are much easier to shake off an old bed sheet. :)
