So… should I switch to 05 PCM? Or iEMS3? I'm really at a stand still, cause that's my next line of attack finding a way to tune

I would do the 05 PCM of it were me "carols ram" had an iems3 on his 06 and didn't like it at all but he was also running 545rfe trans but that's just my choice your

I was going to buy that off of him but, between family and work issues I lost contact with him.

go with a full standalone setup. Dodge truck PCMs are untunable for big power, end of story.

750 to 800 rwhp/rwtq will require a full stand alone set up.:blink: Your going to have to build a very serious engine(426), turbo system, fuel system, trans, drive shaft, rear axle, and suspension for that kind of power.

You can get 450 to 550 max usable street rwhp from your 03 pcm. And with your rcsb. You should do well at the track too. But, you need to find someone that has tuned an 03 Hemi ram before. Many have tried and failed.......:blink:

How much power are you making?

I've never tested it. I think the engine is getting tired so I'm not interested in really pushing it any more and just use it for towing. Hopefully I can sell it this spring and buy a cheap, new truck for camping.

OP, you might read through my Megasquirt thread were I attempted to do a stand alone tuner on my 03. I would have done better IMO if I had done the trans conversion first. It is now removed and I'm back on the OEM PCM with just the High Idle Mod, I recently tried a Split Second Cam Tuner and it didn't respond as advertise. I believe I have a high fuel pressure issue now and won't really work on it again until I get back from vacation.

This is what my truck made with a 8.4psi boost spring on the old front mount turbo set up. 488rwhp/534rwtq(583enghp/629engtq) Note: The waste gate stuck a little at the beginning of the dyno run.(13.1@107mph) There will be a new dyno test with the new turbo set up once it's ready.:thumb:

Have ran the truck at 10psi boost. Just add 35hp/tq to the dyno numbers for that amount of boost.(12.8@109) :thumb: With the oem 03 computer.:brows:

whatd you need to get 03 to run boost? injectors and srt4 map?

And a boost tune. Don't go with big can on an 03 computer. Your tuner will have a very hard time tuning it on the dyno. Start out with a 5psi boost tune to make sure everything is working with the tune.

I have a 03 with a t 70 turbo hit me up if you in STL I'm interested in a trans swap I'm on trans#4 I'm happy with my tuning after 2 years of r&d but can't get the trans to hold the power I don't know how much power I'm making now but with stock injectors and a diablosport predator I ran a 13.48 at99 6psi with correct tuning fuel pump, map and injectors at 6psi it made a huge difference no times yet

Good to know that there's another turbo 03 in mo! Haha I've got a built trams in the stick currently but I'm slowly building a 4l80 for it. What pump, injectors, and map did you go with?
