Loaded the saved HP file back to Red and she fired right up, sounding good. Made a warmup log which I'll attempt to decipher tonight

Actually did a little tuning today. Changed the TB airflow table. From what I read mopar has a lot going on in the background we may never figure out. If you thump on it of course it goes wot, but if you lean on it slowly going to say 70%. There are limiters to keep the TB in check, holding the TB at around 350 scale on the table. When throttle goes above 70% it leaps to the wot position. Have you heard the term light switch? Ok so if the TB scale starts at 0 and the top of the scale is 1150 you can see there is a hell of a big jump from 350. But if you change the scale to start at 0 and change the top number on the table to 400 then smooth it back to around 125 on the table. Now you have full control over the TB opening in direct relationship with the throttle. ....

That makes sense. I’ve often noticed the “spots” in the pedal position that would jump the acceleration. I don’t like that, I want a 1:1 throttle body to pedal relationship

Sounds like your picking it up pretty quickly. Or at least this section. Very interested to follow your progress with it. :thumb::thumb:

There is a lot to learn. So I'm just mimicking what others are doing. With a backup file..... lol

Time to move on.... new game in town...

Keith are you at all interested in picking up hp tuners or you sticking with diablo for good?

i dont do this enough to need to switch over to HP tuners. when i do switch the tuning device for my truck i will be going to a full holley digital dash unit setup in the near future. for now i will just keep tinkering with diablo. i am confident i dont need anything more than diablo to push over 1000 hp if i wanted to as the hellcats and demons do it. only real reason to swith would be for maybe a little better tunability but again i have not used it and cannot attest to it.

i cant tell you Greg is setting some damn impressive times with my tune using diablo right now i still want to see a full pass on that last tune. hell i want to see my truck on a full pass too

There are some exciting times ahead. Thats for sure

Yeah throttle control on diablo doesn’t have anything like that lol there is no getting rid of that wot kick deal just tricking it some
Stu, your quote was taken out of context.. says a lot about your character..

My throttle is almost too sensitive, it is difficult to control at partial throttle while getting tossed around. So I thought I would attempt to align the three Airflow tables closer then adjust from there. The experiment failed, but I still am excited that I could make the adjustments, test it and put it back to were I was to begin with. It seems there is a hierarchy among the tables. Lots to learn...
