i have a McGaughys 4.5 rear flip kit installed on my truck and was wondering if i install a sway kit if it will work and fit correctly which no custom fab work?

 

yes, if you order the swaybar for a flip kit. they come with shorter dog bones.

i believe its bell tec, i'll see if i can get Kay 9 on here . he went thru that.

 

With my 6" rear flip kit the Belltech sway bar was hitting the pumpkin. Had put in spacers which cleared the pumpkin ok.

Replace your spacers with some solid stock metal instead of square tubing.

 

Hellwig has bars that you flip for lowered trucks. The end tabs are angled to accomodate. They also use end links that are adjustable now.

 

Good info for other folks but i have been happy with these spacers for the last 4 years.

Not to dredge up an old thread but I'm "finally" getting around to installing my Hellwig sway bar. It's the standard 7651 RSB and I have the Belltech 3.5" drop leafs.

Is there anything I need to do in this case? Do I need to shorten toe end links or threaded rods to make this work?
