My wife and I are signed up to get our concealed handgun licenses. I'm looking at the Springfield xds or the Glock 36. Both are subcompact 45acp. Both are about the same size. What do yall carry as a concealed weapon? Also looking at the Glock 26 for my wife. She really likes the xds but they haven't released a 9mm version yet.

Where did you get the drum feed for the Maverick 88? I might want to do that to mine

I bought the gun new from a dealer with the kit already set up on it hence the receiver is also camouflaged. Here's the website: Adaptive Tactical | Product Line They have several options, if you don't want the pistol grip or the M4 style stock they have kits for that setup too. It also fits Mossberg 500's.

That looks very good, is it reliable?

The nice thing with their system is that it's ambidextrous. The shells can be loaded into the drum either direction. And if you wanna go over-the-top you can chamber a shell and stick one in the tube and then pop the drum on for a max capacity of 12 shots :)

I'm taking the mag-fed mossy out deer hunting this winter. Because reloading is stupid lol ;)

Oh, I agree, but 6 isn't enough when 14 deer walk out within 30 yds and they don't have a clue....

I'm looking at a Walther PPX in 9mm. It'll be a little bulky to carry, it will probably just be a home defense weapon and range toy. Anyone have a Walther? They get good reviews online and I found a new one at a local gun store with 2 16 round mags $50 under what Cabelas has the same gun for with only 1 mag :thumb:

My father in law has a Walther .380. It is one sweet shooting gun.

Thanks! Yeah, they get good review online :thumb: I dig the sights on it :thumb: I'm really excited for my purchase permit to get here  Will also be looking at getting a concealed carry permit once I've been to the range a few times :thumb:
