So stu, how are you doing your setup? Stock manifolds and running them into a Y and looping it back under to the turbo or forward facing headers like what I have?

Nope.

I just got started today and loving every minute.

My plan is...... Regular header and cross over from the drivers side going behind the engine(Less engine compartment heat). Passenger side header flipped(just like yours Austin) and tied into the cross over pipe and the STS 2 1/2" pipe at the same time. Having the rear part of the STS pipe bent down to make room for the turbo down pipe. Also adding brackets to strengthen up the manifold for the turbo weight. Going to tack them together. Then take it down and get the turbo manifold welded up correctly.

I'll post up pics as I go.

I can make it sound easy. But, you and I know better, don't we Austin.

PS. This is a first time set up and try out. I'm using the old headers. I would rather screw up the old headers than a new set. "Testing & Tuning" at it's best.

My front mount actually quieter than my rear mount was. I think a lot of the turbo noise was coming in through the rear cab vents.

Tried to use the Tri-pipes still welded together. The bends and angles where off. Cut them into single pipes for easier fitting up for tomorrow. Need to have a second small bend added to the cross over pipe going to turbo manifold for better fit up. Should make progress tomorrow.
