I have 5 step sisters , 1 works for the CDC , 1 is a FBI behavior analyst our oldest is retired now, the other 2 are heavily involved in Democrat politics , 1 works for the DNC, she's high ranking external messaging "creator" and the other is a chief advisor to a US senator, Both of them were very upset with this Horrible act of cowardness, The DNC sister , obviously never agreed with Charlie , but always talked about How Charlie had no fear in having conversations and debating any and all types no matter how they identified themselves, she was one of the few on the left that had Charlie's personal cell # along with the # he would give out to "talk " to people.
She called me at 2:35est on Tuesday to tell me what happened , next thing she said was , "Holly Crap who ever did it just destroyed our(meaning her side) chances at taking the house back", then it hit her about Erika and GG ......There are a lot of Lefties that are feeling this pain(I'm not a lefty AT ALL)
She told her staff once ,
You can disagree with Charlie all you want, but you have to admire him, he will not shy away from the hard conversation" and he'll buy you lunch if your willing to break bread with him"
The other Dem sister, once said , "Charlie changed my mind about who he was , when she Heard him talk about Dave Rubin and Dave Janet's marriage as being a model marriage for all to follow , She said to me , a "homophobe" would never say that.
There are more then a few moderate Dems that are now realizing ,if they are assassinated in this current climate , it's most likely from someone on the fringe Left.
I meet Charlie a few times, he was always upbeat, he always had a joke to tell, and was always reading and taking in current news.
I do know this , there are prominent people on the left who realize Charlie's voice my have been silenced , but his actions are going to be felt for the next 2-3 presidential cycles.
