So you're skipping 11's and going straight for 10's huh?

This is going to be fun.....

Keep me in the loop Fred. Maybe we can do a GTG and work on it. At least Cheer you on!

o yea Kenneth, when the block comes back from the machine shop we're gonna have a gtg at my place :)

Other than the cam and lifters that motor is in unbelievable shape for that many miles. A real Amsoil testimonial! :thumb:

That's a lotta cam, it's going to sound absolutely wicked!

Wow I don't log on for a while and I miss all the fun stuff.

With all the new parts and power I see another transmission in Fred's future.
As much as I hate to say it now may be the time to look into options other than rebuilding or trying to build up a stock trans.

just heard from Stu..my piston CR is 10.75

Fred, didn't you also mill the heads? That's going to make a tight motor for the street.

hey Fred,

what's happening?

you emailed me about a tune for your new stroker on 4-8-14, and I gave you price quote on 4-10-14, and I haven't seen an answer so far.

while I have not tuned your exact cam grind yet, I have tuned several 392 strokers, and a blend of a 392 tune with 228/230 cam and a 392 tune with 322/238 cam should make a decent base tune for a starting point.

hi David...sorry I didn't respond, I figured I had plenty of time since I was just gettin all my parts together and at the moment the block is at the machine shop...I'll let you know as the time gets closer...Stu did mention that he wanted to do my tune but we'll see...

see the difference between the 5.7 injectors and the 6.1 injectors....

That really places the nozzle low in the port. I always assumed the flow was just increased. There is also injector timing to consider. How does the 5.7 compare to the 6.1 table?

update for today...block should be back this week so I took the time to clean up the heads and intake manifold, also installed the srt 6.1 fuel injectors, cleaned the throttle body and hehe, kinda put some stuff together.. :)
