Ok starting this thread to get the attention here lol. 2003 single cab 1500 black 3.7 v6 ram. Motor is apart was going to rebuild it but decided not to now (anyone need 3.7 engine or parts for it free pay shipping or come get)! Getrag 238 trans and all parts needed (pedal, clutch, console, master and slave to put into a 1500 ram 2003-2005 for sure $1200 plus shipping! Now for the fun part with the truck it is getting motor swap! No it is not a hemi, chevy, ford engine at all it does have a turbo and will be fun! Motor is apart and getting the crank turned down as three rods were locked up on it aside from that it's perfectly fine! It will no be getting anything done to it power wise it will be stock setup with a little turbo mod done to make it work in the truck for my setup. The engine is going to be a monster in this truck simply because it's really light compared to what it came out of. The engine block and trans will be getting test fitted into the truck very soon. I will also be doing a stack with a flap or a bed pipe with a flap on it just because I can lol! This is the trans I'm going to use in the truck!

My dog always wants right where I’m working. Either trying to push in between my arms while I’m working, or sitting on my laptop while I’m doing school

I set an egg timer for 55 mins, when the timer goes off I go back to the house and walk the dog.

Harness is in the truck. Mounted the fuse box on the core support just next to the factory fuse box. I tapped into the fuel pump feed wire to run it off the cummins ECM. The Cummins needs 58psi at the cp3 pump and the factory pump will supply that issue free. Next is to run a return line to the tank for the overflow of fuel back from the cp3 pump. I need to order a yoke to have a driveshaft made. Still need a starter for it also and need to order the MAP sensor that goes on top of the factory air cleaner assembly. Then it’s add fluid time and put converter bolts in and fire it up! Getting very close now time to go back to side work lol!

The viper front yoke is steel and uses 1350 joint. Much stronger than the Sonnex aftermarket performance yoke I first used.

Been following this for awhile,
Kinda funny ,
when I blew up my 2003 hemi I went out and bought a (running)
2003 Dodge 3500 5.9 Cummins for my DD

They ARE different and get ALMOST 20 mpg
BUT the first thing I did was get a Bully Dog Tuner and set it to EXTREME +100hp
NOW it's almost fun

I just wanted to warn you that the 6.7L is more prone to head gasket failure than the old trusty 5.9L .
Might be a good idea to do a little research into the apparent problem. ?

Its a backpressure issue with them. I know all about it. Hence once I get a little extra money I am swapping the turbo on the wife’s mega out. Main thing that really causes it is hot dogging them using the exhaust brake. My wife doesn’t drive totally stupid so hopefully not an issue there. My swap truck is not gonna be beat on for a good bit till my other truck is done.
