Im using the blue wire for rpm.

are you referring to the blue wire on the wot box harness or the blue wire on the ignition coil?

Im sorry i’m using the blue wire from the coil and connected it to the yellow wire from the wot box.
ok I just wanted to double check. you're not getting an rpm signal at all? try going to a fuel injector, go to the wire on an injector that is not the brown w/white stripe, go to the other one. on injector #1 the control wire should be brown w/yellow stripe.

I am for my transmission i doubled checked that. But for the wotbox it won’t show up when i click read its supposed to show idle rpm. But i’ll swap the wotbox wire to an injector and see if it will show rpm that way. Also what kind of pin do i need so i can hook up to pwm1. i know their are different types.

what I did was open up the main connector and relocate an unused wire over to the PWM1 location on the plug

i swapped the wire to the injector wire brown with yellow stripe im getting a rpm signal but it’s not reading correctly it will show like 2200 rpm when it’s idling at 750.

you need to change your pulses/revolution setting. go into the hardware setup folder and then the speeds folder, set speed 1 to 0.5

Im sorry i didn’t clarify this was for my n2mb wot box not the transmission. When i hit the read button the lowest i seen was 1243 so i’m not sure why it’s all over the place.

if you're using a fuel injector or coil for your transmission rpm input then you need to adjust that speed setting as I explained. for the wot box software, make sure you have made the appropriate selection for your rpm source.

Everything is correct on transmission rpm i never touched it. The wot box i have it set to fuel injector and on cold start my truck is at 900 rpm and the wot box shows 1250. im wondering if it’s getting some kind of interruption from another wire maybe like i need a shielded wire or something.

I'm not sure what the issue would be, but realistically the rpm on the wot box doesn't matter anyway unless you're using it for the rev limiter or launch control functions, which you're not. an incorrect rpm reading won't affect the functionality as far as using it for a shift cut goes.
