Wow just learned today that the coin holder in the center console is removable. I know this is no big deal but I had never thought to look at it closely. I don't quite know why it is removable but it is.

Someone stole the one out of my 04 before I got it. The 08 didn't have one, but I made the dealership get a new one. Those things aren't cheap.

i took mine out and my cell phone fits horizontally and it does not move no matter how I drive.

how much are they? i need to get one because the previous owner took it out that and the ashtray. wouldnt so much need the ashtray but the coin holder is definitely needed.

My 06 has an ash tray, but it is in the fold away cup holder. That hole would be the only other place that makes sense.. <insert evil Jay laugh here>

Inside the center armrest on the passenger side is the coin holder. On the driver side is the power outlet and on the passenger side is the coin holder slot.

Yeah my truck didn't have one in it either so I'm harassing the dealer to give me one but I didn't catch that it wasn't in the truck until the next day so... we'll see.

They are in different places on different year and models. 08's have 2 places for them if you have bucket seats....one inside the console and one in the tray under the radio.

Same here. My Blackjack 2 fits in the little slot between the cupholders just perfect!
