Stuck in 4th gear

My 2013 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi Quad cab with 157,000 miles is stuck in 4th gear. A battery, tires, brakes, and oil are all I’ve had to replace on this truck since it was new. From what I gather online, the shift solenoid needs to be replaced. I’m comfortable with doing that. I’m just posting here to ask if there is another direction I should go with this repair before settling on that for sure. Any advice is welcome and appreciated.
