Nice run! What times do you get? Those STI's along with the Evo's are pretty nasty, something about AWD and a turbo..

 

That was just a 14.64, i was hoping with the new cam and SCT i would be a little faster but i,m happy to be in the 14's!

an sti can run 13's

 

I've seen 2 brand new STIs run low 13s. The first one I saw had to have been far from stock. The guy launched at about 1200 and shifted at about 3500 (grandma style) every run and still ran 13.1 every single time. You could see his car pull like crazy once that turbo go goin but then he would take about 2 seconds to shift and then it would pull like crazy again. With a good driver I'm betting that car was low 12s.

The other one wasn't half as rowdy but ran about the same times. The guy launched way harder and shifted way better.

I don't think that one was an STI either. Damn those things are UGLY

That was a regular WRX with some funky aftermarket wing - probably stock judging from his ET. They're lucky to get ~ 14.20s with a good driver and that guy looked lucky to drive it to a 14.anything

My other car is a Subaru (Legacy, not WRX, ~400whp) and once I'm finished wasting mod money on it I'll have to get a cam for my truck. Along with a torque converter, e-fan, and some exhaust work, I bet I'd enjoy it a good bit.

 

Well i found the guy and asked and its a stage II 2.0 WRX with an STI turbo and some STI stickers, sorry about that guys!

 

Good kill though. A stock imprezza is one of the slowest cars you can buy. Friend had one for a rental car, it did 0 to 60 in about 14 seconds.

correct, definitely not an STI. put that fake STI against a real STI, the real one would beat the guy like he was in reverse.
