I will be getting flat black srt10 wheels next week for my 06 ram 1500 qc. I currently have 2 in drop shackles in the rear and that is all. I plan to do a 2in front and 2in rear drop. What size tires should I buy?

I have Yokohama Parada Spec-X 305/40/22 on my truck. 1.5" front (cut spring) and 3.5" rear(flip axle kit). Still have good suspension travel & ride up front and in the rear. But, the front tires do come very close to the fender lip when the tire hits a good size bump. Did roll up the top center fender lip about 1/4" for better tire clearance. Also added a cut down ranger leaf spring and removed the load spring for a better ride at the rear. Had to do that for the Caltrac traction bars to work correctly.
With 2" drop springs, there wasn't enough suspension travel to make the truck ride nice with no problems. The tire did rub the fender.

I have the same size tire on SRT 10 - 22's as David does in the picture above and riding at stock height. Yes there is plenty of room at that height unless you are running the rear inner fender liners - then you may need to modify them or remove them.
