I only got in 1 pass at the MSRA event at BIR. Even though one of the event cordinators ivited me and the truck to participate, we were shut down by one of the other event cordinators because only 1979 and older vehicles were allowed at the event. I was told I could make one pass and then pit the truck. That right there ruined my day. I even had the bottle heating up back in the pits ready for my next pass.

I wanted to get a base run for my first pass, meaning going down the track in street trim, no shortbelt or bottle. I cut a 1.60 60' and the truck was pulling hard until I hit 3rd gear. As soon as it hit 3rd, the truck went into limp mode so as I was coasting through the 1/8 at 7.50@87.92, I shut the truck off, put in in N and restarted it. I never got back in it and finished the run with a 12.44@86.64. After that pass I was a spectator for the rest of the day.

 

Did you figure out what happened?

 

Update. The truck ran a 12.14 in St. Louis on Sept 26. Went to an outlaw event and ran an 11.10 and backed it up with an 11.08.

Thanks guy's and girls She was SUPER FAT in 3rd. Ran a 6.87@97.15 in the 1/8 with a 1.48 60'.
