And right about the time you get a decent tune the tranny falls out too right?

I think I am about to join the "blew up a tranny" club too.

Actually I will be kinda screwed because some of the T56 conversion parts are not ready yet! I would probably have to rebuild the stock tranny for now.

So then you have to check the scanner and the A/F ratio then figure out what the SMT6 is doing, change it, talk on the phone, and try not to run the red light you are approaching at 80 mph. Then as you nail the brakes and toss all that in the floorboard of the truck, it dies and you loose the AC, power steering and brakes. isn't tuning fun?
Remove the cell phone and add a cam corder and you've got me. My right elbow holds the corner of the laptop on my console. My right hand holds the scanner. I work in 1500 rpm increments and watch boost, a/f and egt. Sometimes I will work a camcorder in the mix and make a full gear run recording whatever gauge I need specifics on. Granted mine doesn't cut off or goes in limp mode, but I remember those days from about 14 mo ago. That DID raise the challenge bar.

Been there done that, lol.

When I first started tuning I did not have a "labtop" so I used my PC along with an AC/DC converter so I have even more cables runing everywhere.

If i was smarter I would have Stu knock me out a labtop mount that I could bolt to the floorboard of the truck... then i could zip tie the scanner and lm1 to the base and watch where I was going.

Denny and I just got back from some more tuning. He added an Inovative LM3 to the LM1. Add that with the laptop, scanner, Superchips, zip ties, tape and cords, we must make quite an impression going down the road. We decided to give the truck an extra 1 1/2 lbs of boost today. I like it, hopefully the tranny does.

The truck is tuned up. It might seem that the SMT6 might be acting up a bit. Ordered an extra one just for backup. The truck will be heading down to St Louis for Monster Mopar Weekend next month. We'll be taking the truck down there to race and for promotional purposes as well. The theme for the weekend will be: Bringing a part of the past, with the present, to create a future. Maybe Ma Mopar will get the message. Check out http://www.sharadon.com

Installed a Godzilla bypass/blowoff valve and blew the intercooler off the motor today. We thought this upgrade would be better than the $69 Boush, of course we kicked the boost a couple pounds also. We might have to strap the intercooler down. lol!

That *poof* is always fun to hear while driving. I've blown mine off the boots a couple times coming out of 8psi+ range too fast for the bypass to handle. When it bounces of the hood it tends to make the butt pucker up for a second until you realize what just happened
