Thanks to this site and all the friendly and helpfull people here; Mr Hemi gave me permission to post pic's and details of a complete build for a supercharged Hemi engine. We will take you through the step by step process. From pulling the motor, to the final tuning. Starting tomorrow morning at 9 am, we will be tearing into the truck. We will give you a day by day post and pic's of the truck in progress. Currently, there are 11 other on going project vehicles that are being worked on. Somedays my truck will have to take a back burner. I want to take the time right now, to thank the many people on this site, that have answered all my many questions and make this happen.

If you can get one, and incorporate it, the 4bbl crate motor ECM is not fly by wire.

What I'd like to see you do, is to put a Holley on top of it before you hook up the injectors.
Just fill up the bowls with gas, use your hand on the throttle, see if it will start, idle, accelerate. I have no idea if it would work, but if so, I can see new roads to take.

The problem isn't so much coming up with a cable operated throttle/idle control as making the PCM work with it. I can't think of any way to do it without going to a standalone. And if you do that, I'd think about a mass-air conversion too

That said, I'd love for you to figure out a way to make it work with the stock PCM. I have an extra throttle body (the one that came on my truck, Canadian version) which I have the cover off of if you need one for testing. I played around with it awhile back with the same idea in mind.

For the half hour it would take to do, what do you have to loose. Just let the fuel pump, pump into an empty gas can. Obviously, it works in the crate engine. I know it's a different ECM, but it shows it can be done.

I like the idea of testing out the PCM with a carb installed. The test would be quick, simple and inexpensive. Even if it sort of works, atleast it will send us in the right direction. We can always go back to the drive by wire throttle body system with the new intake.

I just recieved the Mopar aluminum intake. We're not to happy with floor design. On a NA motor, it will probably show poor hp and tq gains down low. With boost, it should be fine. I will probaly get it flow tested anyways. The good news is, is that it's a wet intake. Atleast I have options, like auxillary fuel injectors compared to a dry intake.

Pics! Pics! Pics! Pics!

I just wanted to be the first to ask! LOL!

I know what it looks like!

Thanks guitarded, but where's my can of orange paint? lol
By going with this style of intake, I'll have less worries with the w/m setup and the puddling that may occure in the manifold. I could also use a Holley no2 spray bar, with let's say a 50 shot?, for tuning purposes. hehe

WHATS THE PART # ON THAT INTAKE? Did you get just the intake or did it come in a kit?

Can't get that to come up must only come in the kit.
