First, I used to be 04hemipower but changed my email address and stuff. Now the good stuff!!! After doing some research i found that not only is diablosport working on their tuner but SCT is incredibly close to releasing a custom tuning program on their xcal 2 platform. I was told it was very close to release by them and one of their tuners. at most a couple weeks. If you guys are unfamiliar with sct check out their website at www.sctflash.com. The tuner i spoke to personally owns a srt8 jeep and said that he would email me when he receives the program. This could be the custom tuning solution we've been waiting for. I plan to have my truck tuned soon after the release and will keep everyone up to date.

im lookin between sct and diablo myself.. i figure by the time i can affoard one they will both be out.... i just dont know which will work better for an 03...

you can purchase the software package for a few hundred bucks if im not mistaken. but my thought was to collect all the parts im gonna need. assemble it, and have it towed to jacksonville to be tuned. then its all done. Thats why im trying to figure out exactly what is necessary for the combo i plan to go with. Im thinking if im gonna do the valvetrain and heads that i might just go all out and put in a stroker kit as well. After all, this will be over summer break and I can afford to be without my truck for a few weeks if necessary so it would be ok. but it may work out to be easier to get the software. who really knows at this point. well have to see how complex it is.

I'm a custom tuner with SCT. As of right now, SCT will be a little more expensive because they don't have a "can tune" as when you buy a Diablo. However, if you want custom tuning with Diablo, it'll cost you more.

In any case, once you buy an SCT tuner, we'll get your tuning correct the way you need. Small changes or enhancements will not cost you anything. A complete tune re-write will cost $50. You can pick 3 tunes of your choice when you buy the unit. Tow, Perf, race, cam tune, different injector tune, etc

We've been doing the '96 to '02 trucks for a little bit now. We even got a 242 duration cam to idle and drive fine in a 2002 5.9 Ram. Fuel trims are normal! Listen to this :

How is SCT coming along Sean?

I'm having a ball tuning the 5.2/5.9/4.7 stuff.

SCT has tuned a hemi durango already but still working on the 6.1 srt8 stuff. I'm like...send the 5.7 hemi stuff on out. lol. We'll see. They are still busting their but for a December release but also said 1st of the year for sure...I ain't holding my breath. I'm just patiently waiting.

So with the 4.7/5.2/5.9 is the ecu wide open? Can you adjust factory fuel maps to the extent that if the same is available on the 5.7 we could possibly not need a piggy back controller anymore?

Vince, I'll be doing my best to remove the piggyback when SCT is avail for the hemi's.

I know SCT has successfully tuned 5.7 hemi's but they don't have everything for the 6.1's yet.

A tuner friend of mine has the pre-release of the SCT hemi tuning software. He's loving it. I'm hoping to have it next week.

I've already written a 2 bar program for the jtec processors. Dude has a blown 4.7 Jeep and he's put on a 2 bar map and 45# injectors and I'm controlling it 100% with the pcm. That'll be my priority with the hemi's to start off with.

I have the hemi software and have been doing some testing on the hemi LX and trucks. More info coming soon.

performance has the tuners in stock right now I talked the them 2 days ago. It can do everything except forced induction. Which does me absolutely no good, I also think its just 04-05 model years. But call them to check!
