Post up pictures of days gone by. The good ole days. Vintage this, that or the other thing.
Things of interest to share with our members. Could be fun.

I remember unpasteurized milk being delivered to the door in bottles. But after it became pasteurized I sort of remember mom getting it from a store in the more modern squared hard wax paper containers. It wasn't something I paid any particular attention too. Cold milk was a real treat..
Still is. We save enough on milk alone to more than cover our Costco membership. I remember the "Foremost" guy would come by on Saturday. One Saturday I rode with him through his entire route. I guess I was about ten. Can you imagine what corporate would say about that now? Especially since I was in the back of the truck gathering up the next stop's order. No restraints, just bouncing over those dirt country roads.

Speaking of ride alongs. Had a family friend who worked for the rail road. A train would leave out in the morning and go up the mountain to bring logs back down. It was a all day run.. I rode the train acouple of times, once we stepped off the moving train (going slow) and spent a few hours fishing in the remote woods. I remember fishing was good. When the train came back down loaded, it blew it's train horn letting us know we needed to climb back to the tracks.. again climbing onto the moving train. All very exciting.. was told not to tell my mother, making the whole adventure even better.. No way can kids do anything similar these days.. sad..

One ringy-dingy. I loved comedy back then. Not nasty, swearing or sexual - just basic comedy. :ROFLMAO:

Mine was a Muntz (the guy who invented the format) under the dash of my Mom's '68 Bonneville.

I had the barefoot gas pedal, never needed the dimmer switch barefoot pedal. I felt it would get in the way moving my foot around on the floorboard of my 57' Chevy.

I remember those console TVs. We got our first one in '64. My uncle had one long before that. Common task: constantly fiddling with "hue" and "intensity" while watching "Bonanza", NBC's showcase for color. "The following program is brought to you in living color."
