RAM engine on 70' Cuda retrofit with 8HP70

Hi guys,

I am not a truck owner as we speak but I own a 5.7 HEMI off 2006 Dodge RAM that has been retrofitted onto my 1970 Cuda restomod project. The engine will be Vortech supercharged and it is currently also being paired with 8HP70 off a Challenger.

I hope you fellas can help me out... the problem is that RAM seems to have a rather big oil sump and this makes for a too small ground clearance for the Cuda. I need to change the oil pan for something which is still in the rear of the engine (or middle) and that is as small as possible in terms of its deepness towards ground.

Can you suggest me something that might be a good choice for this purpose? And I assume the oil pickup needs to be replaced also?

Thank you for all the help!

Best wishes,
George (from Europe)

Welcome to our Hemi Family!!! (y)
There's few out there now, Holley has some great swap stuff,

We used this one on a "AAR" cuda clone last summer.

Was just going to mention those pans. Hemi is very common in the resto world now so stuff is always coming up just takes time to search it all.
Thanks for all the help guys. Really appreciate it. I ordered the 302-60 pan from Holley with the transmission lower support that seems to be required as well. This should get us going further with the project!

Holley seems to be going (or at least trying to) all in on 3G-4G hemi swap/retrofit stuff.
