Be careful with that 5.7 hemi and the M37. I own a '63 Dodge m37 and the transfer case and axles will be weak under the power of a 5.7 hemi. Watch temps of the transfer case. You need to give details of the running gear of the M37. Is it modified and upgraded? what with? Not much detail in the description.

It's 5.83 gears.

the axles are upgraded. I will look for my docs on the transfer case.

Ask away, It's a neat piece , the Axels he upgraded to are full floating Branik axels, That Hemi is Not going to hurt them, transfer case looks like a 201 or a 205......your not going to hurt it., Nag trans......Not going to hurt it either....5.7 it's self...will eat a cam or lifter before any driveline issue.
The factory transfer case in the M37 was the NP200. If yours is this vintage, use yellow metal (brass) friendly gear lube in it.

Yeah, my problem currently is pulling all the codes the computer is showing me and learning that side of the hemi.
He had a company program a harness specifically for it but it doesn't seem to shift out of first unless the transition between gears at 5.83 is that small. It won't go passed 6k rpm's at 25mph.

it had some codes I wrote down. I have been trying to find a hemi/classic mechanic near Austin tx to take it to while I also learn it myself.

I want to put new gears in 4.11? I think fits? Before I do that I want to figure out these codes.

P0073/active ambient air temp sensor low
02 sensor 1/2 & 2/2 circuit high

P0730/stored Incorrect gear ratio
P0733/stored Gear ratio error in 3rd
P0734/stored Gear ratio error in 4th
