ok ran into a snag very shortly after getting to start to learn it stalls out. what i have found is that key on at rest the factory blade sits at 10% at rest the gm tb is at 21% which means that the comp has to run the tb in reverse just to idle the factory tb only goes reverse on heavy decel. my idea is to take the throttle body apart and add a turn or so to the spring inside to pull it to the dodge factory loacation this way the comp wont even have an idea of the tb being anything but a dodge tb.the sensors inside read exactly the same at the Blade % from closed all the way to 100% so electrically sensor wise theres no diff. i believe its just the home position that is confusing the comp in this instance when it would normally just turn the motor off it has to actually run it back to close it.
inside there is a clock spring on a post that returns the tb blade to home position so by essentialy fixing this it should make it comp friendly. for now i have the factory on fires right up and idles instantly. still trying to figure out if there any adjusting in the tune but from what i am reading is the bigger tb just changes the AFR at idle the flow is still controlled by the comp so size is irrelavent. i will keep you guys posted as i explore this will make for a cheap mod with a decent gain esp for us boosted guys.
