Wait till I get it to run correctly first then I will post up the wiring and what not to do it for anyone else that wants to gm tb are a ton cheaper and easier to come by! :thumb: factory are 90mm lol

ok ran into a snag very shortly after getting to start to learn it stalls out. what i have found is that key on at rest the factory blade sits at 10% at rest the gm tb is at 21% which means that the comp has to run the tb in reverse just to idle the factory tb only goes reverse on heavy decel. my idea is to take the throttle body apart and add a turn or so to the spring inside to pull it to the dodge factory loacation this way the comp wont even have an idea of the tb being anything but a dodge tb.the sensors inside read exactly the same at the Blade % from closed all the way to 100% so electrically sensor wise theres no diff. i believe its just the home position that is confusing the comp in this instance when it would normally just turn the motor off it has to actually run it back to close it.

inside there is a clock spring on a post that returns the tb blade to home position so by essentialy fixing this it should make it comp friendly. for now i have the factory on fires right up and idles instantly. still trying to figure out if there any adjusting in the tune but from what i am reading is the bigger tb just changes the AFR at idle the flow is still controlled by the comp so size is irrelavent. i will keep you guys posted as i explore this will make for a cheap mod with a decent gain esp for us boosted guys.

went and did some runs on a way out road lol oh my. the tune is holding a solid 11.0 afr to rich going to track friday to tune it up a little aiming for 11.5-11.8 max and timing can be added across the board not a single bit of knock at all. lets see what this sucker can do gonna run some 1/8 mile then check the logs adjust and go for the 1/4 hoping for 5 runs minimum.

at track will be running the tail gate because im not taking the bed cover off. will be doing the tailgate mod soon hoping to pick up a tail gate with one hand. i will also be running the rear air springs at full pressure to limit nose lift if that doesnt work will be making front end limiters for the track that are adjustable. we will see 11sssssssssss i will get you hahahaha
 
Sounds exciting, be careful... the old hemi doesn't need a lot of timing..

It's not the timing you add it's the timing you try to keep without forcing it to hold it if that makes sense. There is a lot of variables that go into the timing calc and the comp is good at pulling it out even without knock. Stock the hemi runs low-mod 20s I'm at around 14 now can add some or leave it and take fuel which ever works best for the application I will do I will correct fuel a tad first then see if timing adjust is needed. 2-3 degrees can be a diff of 50hp on a hemi esp a stroker with a blower

Went to the track Friday wow its rich. The street doesn't load the eng as much as slicks and traction do it was off the guage rich way over 10 blowing smoke the while run ran 13.2 @ 101 slow but with that much extra fuel I expected that. Once I lean her down a bit I will be good to go again. I would say I'm right where I was with the factory intake on less boost with the correct afr running they the eng. will be hitting track again Wednesday to dial it in more. My timing is at 7-10 degrees right now thru a run will be adding some Wednesday also I will wake her up soon. Also making a new neck for the xv cutting mine won't make it easier so just gonna fab one up so the cooler sits like it did with stock manifold. We will see meth will go
On after and have a strip tune only for that with a few degrees extra. All in all it's coming back heads are secure now nice and good.
