That will be neat, I'm excited to see how similar our thinking is on this. I'll be glad when I'm finished here, so I can concentrate on getting some things done om old Red.

You have the mega squirt to get done I will do the cosmetics for planning stuff
My top priority is the MS install, then the A518 install. And then start looking at the engine. I just need to sell my van here in the Philippines and I'm out of here. :trash:

Was thinking of doing the same thing Keith.:thumb::thumb:

The forward part of the bed can be removed too or at least put a piece of aluminum there. Back and side windows can be changed out for..... Hand crank windows with the doors lightened. Cut out forward lower fender well frame of cab. Remove a/c and heater system. Ect, ect, ect.........

Aw, what the heck. Let's just build a racing tube chassis truck.
Yes, I've been thinking of doing that too.:D:thumb::thumb::thumb:

I am only modding the bed area of my truck still want all the nice electric stuff if I go with a roll cage later on the rear glass will get changed until then I'm leaving it alone

Anyone who has removed their tailgate has thought about what it would take to lighten the damn thing. ;)

What about moving your battery to some where at the rear of the truck like Tyler did? That would only help your weight transfer and traction.
Where did Tyler move his to?

weight transfer and traction
I think I have that covered stu just saying battery good to go what I do need is some drag shocks now for a lowered truck to try and limit front end climb less rise up front and still maintaining traction means faster et's in the 1/4

I like Tyler's box. I plan to move the battery, mostly I want to use the space the battery is now occupying.

My new toy 140a snap on mighty mig welder tig torch and spool gun ready for aluminum maybe I will make an intake still in the air about it but for my longbar setups this thing is going to work beautifully maybe make a few sets to have around just Incase

Hey Keith, have you noticed how much heat is being pulled off the radiator blowing into the engine compartment and under the a/w aftercooler? My aftercooler gets allot of heat from the radiator too. Maybe a heat shield to block the air flow to the aftercooler? Your thoughts on this........

Would Deff work for long trips efficiency wise but at track once its cooled down doesn't run long enough to heat up which is why I have a seperate switch to run my aftercooler water pump when truck is off
