Tank is not yet mounted in truck yet still need to think about putting in bed simply because with topper on may not be easy to get to it I might mount in truck cab behind seats not sure for now will run it without and see what it does then add later might move battery to bed and use that location still unsure. Decisions decisions

Went to track last night and it was like running at NdIMA all over my tune has gone to **** with this intake manifold the fueling is way off and I'm sure timing needs reworking I think I'm just going to dyno tune it this next time not sure still waiting on white lightening

Once its tuned though an 11 will be no problem

Still have no trans side but PCM is good to go need to do a data log and send to David for some adjusting I'm betting alot of timing can be added and fuel pulled out down low it will get figured out if Sharadon can pull a 1.46 60' with the same intake then tuning is the issue right now its coming

Here's what I have gathered so far from multiple people the xv is a turd ( wish I would have know that) it has no low end power tuning will help a little but it loves 4500-7k so I did some math and I can spin my eng to 7k safely its built for it and the Blower will spin at 53k with the 3.5" pulley max for its impellar right now down the road I can rebuild the blower with the billet impellar and get a 3" pulley and spin it to 7k @ around 57k blower max of 60k and ride the hell out up top all while using the meth for safety

Now I'm not sure I will run it that high in the rpm will be doing some dyno tuning here shortly down where Otneil did his and see exactly where the power drops off and shift around there so after the dyno I will know which way to go

Another thing I was thinking of doing was have 2" intake spacers made for the manifold runners and remove the neck spacer all together not sure the price of that yet but time will tell either I'm getting torque back or going for top end power with more boost at same time increasing bottom end a little with added boost pressure

Whatever I do it will go as fast or faster than before it will just take a little bit more time and money (mod monkeys back)and I may move and shorten my boost piping yet again and cram it all to the left side nice and short like it was before we will see

piping is allot shorter the pep is back
Yes. Shorter the piping, less compressor tank effect. Found that one out my self. :thumb:

Could you imagine how much compressor tank effect Bill's truck has. His truck would be much faster with a front mount turbo and short boost piping. Wouldn't be surprised to see his truck in the mid to lower 11's.:blink::blink::bow::bow::bow:

Did a tiny bit of testing today no bed not going to happen at least with the air shocks I have with no bed it wants to bounce alot if I change the shocks to coilover dragrace setup would be alot better but either way I am fixing the basket issue and boxing in my notch since I can easily access it also redoing my bar mounts front and rear

New mods coming while bed is off truck

1. Redo fuel feed from pump and back into tank

2. Make mounts like I made for Mario much stronger

3. Remove air shocks and buy dragshocks

4. Cut out spare tire crossbrace/mount

5. Add new crossbrace tube in rear of frame

6. Add/relocate both shock mounts to a single bar run parallel to rear axle for racing straight up and down shock setup and add tabs to axle for shocks both on rear

7. Keep wife happy while doing all this
