Fine with me yes it is to be made of 1/4 inch by 2 inch flat steel or 1inch tube with a .180 wall I believe and it has to be no more than 6inches from front yoke (even though they never snap there)

I have the steel drive shaft In my truck I will need to know the diameter of the qc shaft to make one for you bill its a bolt in will need 2 holes to mount it up

Good job Keith.:thumb::thumb:

What's the requirements on where the drive shaft loop is placed?:confused:
From the NHRA handbook: all cars in competition using open driveshafts must have a retainer loop 360 degrees of enclosure, 1/4-inch minimum thickness and 2 inches wide, or 7/8-inch x .065-inch welded steel tubing, securely mounted and located within 6 inches of the front universal joint for support of the driveshaft in event of U-joint failure. Open drivelines passing any part of the driver’s body must be completely enclosed in 1/8- inch minimum thickness steel plate, securely mounted to the frame or frame structure. Driveshaft loop required on all cars running 13.99 (*8.59) or quicker and utilizing slicks; except vehicles running 11.49 (*7.35) seconds or slower equipped with street tires.

That was nice launch!

Things to try to go faster !!!

1. Tape shut 3 grill sections to limit wind interfearance thru eng bay

2. Install susp limiters thru old sway bar link holes

3. Let Becca drive (every other car I have owned she went faster)

4. Add a DEI CRYO2 kit later on
