Mods in motion

Already started ordering stuff for rebuild. Eddy is getting all the bottom end stuff for me custom. I got an eagle 2014 engine as base! Then it’s going to be stroked with the least machine work needed aiming for 392 and 8.8-9.5:1 range no higher. Pistons will have a gapless 1.5mm top ring and a Napier second ring. We are building the bottom end to take 1300 R.W.H.P. The heads will be left alone port wise and upgraded spring wise with whatever Jay Greene specs me after bottom end build. Mid plate is on the way already so motor mounts are going bye bye. New manifolds are going to be made and turbo moved to headlight suction area. Battery to bed. Full gut. Roll age and lighten it up as much as I can. Then I have to do engine diaper and trans blankets! Stronger driveshaft and better loops! Rear 4 link and lower the truck more! Once this is all done looking for 9s range run. Brakes will be full on mechanical as I will only have an alternator belt down low!

tuning will be all holley dominator setup no more factory restrictions. All wiring in the truck will be gone in engine bay. No more airbags or abs stuff it’s all going away. Truck will maybe see road time down the road for shoes and little weekend rips but that’s it going all out now! I pushed this thing from solid 13.8s changing nothing internally to waddle the time away to [email protected] with my little cam setup and very happy with results. Now it’s go big and do some bracket racing time!

Question Keith:
Is there a required distance on an 05 that the O2's have to be located at from the exhaust manifold/header/turbo to get correct readings? What would be the min/max distance?
The reason why I'm asking that question is. A twin turbo set-up like Max did. Can the O2 sensors be put on the down pipe around the stock oem location for the O2's and still work correctly? Don't see where he put the O2 sensors?

Well motor is home! This is going to be a beast of a 420 stroker motor! If anyone is curious this is the nasty engine RedtruckVA built but did not get to using! He built a beast here that’s for sure nothing was held back from this build!
With dual S366/.90 turbos on 18-20psi will be well into 1000+ HP range!
The intake I bought from Harleyc04 and should give me some nice torque too!

Front motor plate has arrived! Now to get all my other little projects cleared out and get this inside and stripped down!

Fuel tank and trans out. Interior is completely empty and I mean everything. Funny car cage coming soon so I don’t have to upgrade down the road. Front tubular and rear tubular frames also going down!
