Mind if I call you Sparky? That's the nickname we gave our commo guys when I was in the US Army Field Artillery (Pershing).Originally posted by kenb3535:

While in Korea is was in an Air Defense Artillery unit and got to fire a mechanized vulcan cannon at Sea Range. Talk about getting pumped up! I was good friends with one of the platoon sergeants who let me fire a 6 barrel revolving cannon in a turret that lays down a 100 round burst of 20mm high explosive rounds.
And let me tell you about the time me and two of my buddies were walking down the street in TDC outside of Camp Casey and an old lady came up to us and said "You want nice girls? We have nice girls for you." But that's another story altogether.....
That's good with me. I miss my military days.Mind if I call you Sparky? That's the nickname we gave our commo guys when I was in the US Army Field Artillery (Pershing).
