Well as some of you know I am a new member here and was looking for a place to place to start my build thread! So the Va section of the forum it is! So for a little fill in I have an 06 ram 1500 slt. Hemi power of course! It is a standard cab short bed. or shorty as I like to call them. I traded in my old 98 ram for this on due to it being just to flat out worn out! But the 5.2 still ran good!! So the plan for this build is both cosmetic and performance. I want a great street truck that can play at the track too! Here is a couple of current pics!

First mod was to add factory fog lights!

Next was to delete the rear bumper and tint the tail lights!!

Future plans are a Mopar A body hood scoop, a simple but striking paint job, lowering,A 518 trans, and a "few" engine mods!!!( FEW? right!!!LOL):coolsmiley: and ether a locker or limited slip diff, and lastly a set of cal tracs!

Did you buy the stripe and then modified it or did you order it that way.

Well guys I detailed Grace and took some fresh pics. But something has come up. My wife went up for a promotion and was turned down because she had no 4 year degree. Even though she has more than enough experience they still turned her down.:cry2: So in order to get her started in school I have to sell Grace..... She will be put up for sale at the end of the month after I recharge the AC and get her inspected. It is sad but it is a sacrifice I am willing to make due to the fact there are billions of cars and trucks in the world to play with but only one wife. So I will support her education and get another truck later.

I applaud you for supporting your wife's goals. But I'm afraid you will be greatly shocked when you put your beautiful truck on the block for sale. They are simply not worth much. Banks won't finance them and a cash buyer will buy new. If I were to ever sell red I would count myself lucky to get a fifth of what I have put into her. Not even counting labor. Selling the truck is throwing away money. If you use grace as a daily driver you will need to replace her when she's sold, that makes no sense. If you don't use her as a daily, make her one and dump one with a payment. Get a second or third job. Part time jobs are everywhere. Hell, work at walmart, pizza joint or what ever you need to do, but trying to sell modified trucks will never make you any money. My two cents.....

That kinda sucks to hear on both counts but family does come first IMO. There will be other trucks and cars that's for sure. I hope you can get something out of it like stated they don't go for much these days maybe get a good buyer and they pay decent.

Thanks guys! I believe Grace will sell good due to the fact she has only 94,000 on the clock and she is VERY clean. The motor isn't really modded yet due to the fact I haven't installed the intake and other parts which will not be part of the sale. I will keep them for the next truck!!!:brows: the only "MOD" will be the lowering and the tires. The rest of the truck will be bone stock! Kelly blue book puts the truck at 8 to 10 thousand.
