Okay, I'm old enough and been married long enough to know not to just take a note from your husband with info he just got over the phone from his friend, Mike, and post it on a website without checking it out first......

The name of the restaurant is "El Padrino". The phone number is correct but it is in Hot Springs Villages that is right outside of Hot Springs.
There seems to be a lot of Restaurants and things to do in Hot Springs Villages. I have a feeling that we are going to spend a lot of time in that area. I am leaning toward our Monday Welcome Dinner to be at "The Home Plate" because that is a variety of food in case not everyone would like Mexican food.

gomngo,
Al the restaurants you listed are good. But need to call ahead if you have a large group to make sure they have enough seating. If you like hamburgers, we have
David's Burgers, 3802 Central Avenue, (501) 521-1900
McDonalds (3) Burger king (3)
Buffalo Wild Wings, 4104 Central Avenue, (501) 525-9453
(FYI) If you want to go into a restaurant in Hot Springs Village, you must know someone who lives in there to authorize you to pass through the main gate.
For places to visit in Hot Springs, we have the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, Garvin Woodland Gardens, bathhouse row in town (lot of shops to visit), Fordyce Bathhouse, Hot Springs Mountain Tower, Mid-America Science Museum, Magic Springs Theme and Water Park, Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, Gangster Museum of America, Hot Springs Off-Road Park with 1,242 acres of off-road trails (guided side x side rentals), hotspringsoffroadpark.com, 501-625-3600. These are just a few places of the places to visit.

I may be coming with my
Side by side not 100% sure yet. Heard the riding up there is some of the best
Arkansas is more relaxed on their rules and guidelines for ATV's, motor-bikes and UTV's. They do require helmets when riding. There are a lot of trails available. The side by sides have to have a roll bar or metal cover and if it has seatbelts you are required to use them. Maybe I can talk Jerry into bringing our ATV and ATP but I don't know if he will. Arkansas does not require a person to carry ATV insurance. There are rental companies available for ATV's and side by sides.

Monday (6/13) Night Dinner reservations made at "The Home Plate" for our group at 5:00 PM. I also verified with our Group Coordinator at Baymont Hotel that if we wanted to shop and/or eat at Hot Springs Villa we may do so even though it is a gated community. We do not have to be with a resident because it is open to the public. To get a good count of how many people I have the following so far. Let me know if I am missing anyone and if more people plan on booking that have not done so yet. There are still hotel rooms available under the name of "Hemi Truck Club".

1. Jerry/Michelle
2. Lisa/Chet (friends of Jerry/Michelle)
3. Ken/Linda
4. Dave/Karen
5. Doug/Mary
6. Kima/Morris
7. Keith/Becca
8. Russell Ingram

Checking things off my list for preparations.

Bummer, Phil. It would have been nice to see you. We haven't had our grocery store run in a few years. 😄
