Hi All, I was finally able to afford my dream Truck. 2004 1500 Reg Cab Black with 20" Chromes & 5.7 H. 4x4

Anyway now that we know year & make etc. I'm getting a weird oscialating vibration that will come & go from the front end between 60 & 70. Tyers have been professinaly balenced & indexed.

Its soo odd how it will come and go. I do all highway during the week and whats odd is that the conditon seems noticalbe worse on 2 particualer streches of highway. In any event its not right. One last tid bit is that I can seem to make it go away or lesson by swerving the truck side to side a bit. Also it is moving the steering wheel left & right in a rythem that matches the rest. Supposedly the front end is ALL GOOD Tie Rd. BJ, Bushing etc. Thats per the dealers meca neck. Help Im all ears

There is a technical service bulletin that addresses the defrost door issue. It is for 2003 models, but I wouldn't doubt the problem showed up on some 2004's also. The TSB has procedures and a labeled diagram that may help you. Good luck!

I just had another thought.

I would definitely follow the excellent advice given by others. But it may just be the road your feeling with the 20 inch wheels, and somewhat low-profile tires. When I purchased my truck new in 06, I noticed alot more "road sensitivity" that I did not notice in my previous truck 97 2500 ctd with 16" wheels and larger tires (more sidewall). I hope it's something simple for ya!
