There is a technical service bulletin that addresses the defrost door issue. It is for 2003 models, but I wouldn't doubt the problem showed up on some 2004's also. The TSB has procedures and a labeled diagram that may help you. Good luck!

Dude thats a night mare. I woudl'nt even want the dealer to do that crap. Truck would never be the same again. I'd have more problems then I do now.

You should have the front brake rotors checked. I have heard some members had their stock rotors warp with as little as 6k on them.

 

 

I'm with Hemi-Pup on his response. Get underneath it and start checking everything you can get your hands on that could cause such an issue.

I just had another thought.

I would definitely follow the excellent advice given by others. But it may just be the road your feeling with the 20 inch wheels, and somewhat low-profile tires. When I purchased my truck new in 06, I noticed alot more "road sensitivity" that I did not notice in my previous truck 97 2500 ctd with 16" wheels and larger tires (more sidewall).
