Hey everyone, I need some help. I had a lifter fail in cylinder 6 and chewed up the lobe on the cam. I got an MDS delete kit from AMS racing. I installed this kit. New cam, timing set, Non MDS lifters, oil pump, push rods, and a Diablosport tuner. Since I got it back together it runs, but runs rough and throws a P0300. I’ve torn it down again and rechecked everything. Still runs rough with a P0300. My question is if I set the timing when I was unknowingly on the exhaust stroke instead of the compression stroke, would that affect it or is that even possible to do? This is my daily and I’m at a loss, I have torn it back down twice now and checked timing and I know #1 was at top dead center, but I’m not sure what stroke I was on. Any help would be appreciated.
